- Shunde Furniture export to the United States increased
Shunde Inspection and Quarantine issued in 4th,January 2009, a total of 218 batches of furniture quarantined and exported. The whole value totals to about 2,551,500 USD, of which furniture export to the United States only has a substantial growth, value of which reached up to 473,000 USD for 43 batches. It has shot up by 38.7%and36.1%respectively.
"Shunde is China's largest furniture production base and distribution center, in recent years by the export tax rebate adjustment policy, the continued appreciation of the yuan, rising raw material prices, labor shortages and many other reasons, shunde furniture industry is facing great challenges." Shunde Inspection and Quarantine person in charge revealed that the export of shunde furniture to the U.S. has been the first time to show a significant growth. Quality is highly guaranteed due to the strict random testing towards its safty, hygiene and environmental protection projects. And at the same time, shunde furniture is progressing to the design of diversified development from traditional modules, and actively exploring the U.S. market.
